WHY I'VE CREATED HOMECARE GUIDES

My Homecare & Wellness Guides are part of a wider series of homecare wellness tools I've developed to support my clients - like you - between sessions with me.  It's rooted in my lived experience of dealing with conditions such as chronic fatigue, long covid, and nervous system dysregulation, as well as my background in psychology and my deeper understanding of neurodiversity and trauma awareness.

Over time, I learned that progress doesn't just happen in the therapy room - it happens in small choices, and insights we gather every day.

When I was part of the Covid Rehabilitation Program, I remember the Personal Trainer asking, "What are you doing for the other 23 hours of the day?"  That moment stuck with me.  Because healing is not just about the one-hour session - it's about everything around it.  That's why I created these guides: so you can gently learn more about your own body, your own health, and your own state of wellness, and use this to make informed choices to get to that place and shape a life that supports your own recovery.

You don't have to do it all. Just start where you are, and notice what unfolds.  Momentum builds over time.

The Power of Small, Consistent Steps

The most powerful changes often happen quietly - at home, in your own rhythm.  These Homecare & Wellness Guides are here to help you notice and work with your body's own natural and individualised patterns. Healing doesn't have to be dramatic to be real. In fact, when you bring regular, manageable practices into your daily life - like restorative rest when you need it - you start to build long-standing change from the inside out.  Think of this as a practice in self-trust: showing up slowly for yourself, consistently and kindly.

These gentle acts of noticing build up over time. It doesn't mean overhauling everything all at once.  Instead, it means starting small - logging your energy each morning, pausing to track your heart rate after a walk or, or simply noting what helped you feel calm or overstimulated that day.

For example, your Heart Rate Tracker might reveal a pattern of spikes after housework or walking for a certain length of time - giving you a signal to slow down or adjust your pacing. Or perhaps your Weather Sensitivity Log shows that low -pressure days leave you more fatigued, helping you plan ahead for rest or gentle care.

Each tool is a mirror.  With regular use, these trackers will help you recognise what's supporting your recovery - and what might need adjusting.  Slowly, this consistent awareness leads to long-lasting, empowering change.

What you do regularly matter more than what you do perfectly.

Want a Sneak-Peek of my Energy Tracker in action?

For anyone recovering from illness, burnout or recovering fatigue, this sample shows how energy can dip after a good day of overexertion - even when you thought you were resting - a common pattern for those managing fatigue, chronic illness or long covid.
